She researches food history and the cultural links between cuisines. She is the author of the book, Mrs LC’s Table: Stories about Kayasth food and culture. She is the founder of The Great Delhi Pop UP, under which she curates unique culinary and bar experiences.

She plays the role of ‘Director of Marketing’ for an exclusive travel & hospitality group in Eastern India with privately-owned boutique travel products – River cruises, Lodges & Resorts, Destination Management Services, Textiles & Handicrafts and Assam Tea Plantations.

Plavaneeta Borah is a food and lifestyle writer, having worked with various media houses in India such as NDTV, BBC Good Food, Travel & Leisure, Times of India and Femina among others for almost a decade. She also hosts Assamese Food Pop-Ups in Delhi under an initiative called Assam Track Mind.
